Our products make it easier for coaches and athletes at any level to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and more.

Your Role

We're looking for enthusiastic students to join us in May 2026 to help tell the story of amateur sports. While we're hiring for multiple roles, both opportunities live within our content ecosystem while focusing on different stages of the story—one through the lens of video production and the other through customer content marketing.

This role requires being in our headquarters for shifts, so we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in Lincoln.

Choose the path that best fits your skills and career goals:

Option A: Content Production Focus

You'll join the Hudl Media team to find and tell the story of great moments in amateur sports.

  • Video Curation: Responsible for curating automated videos and finding the best plays from millions of user highlights.
  • Story Discovery: Dig through high school and amateur video content to showcase the stories that need to be told.
  • Direct Outreach: Research and talk with coaches and athletes via text, phone, or DMs to find engaging storylines.

Option B: Customer Content Focus

You'll join the Brand Marketing team to help our customers champion our products through digital storytelling.

  • Multi-Channel Writing: Create Hudl-branded content for blogs, social media, emails, marketing videos, and event materials.
  • Strategic Marketing: Work from marketing briefs to engage both current users and potential prospects.
  • Trend & AI Exploration: Use the latest trends in social media and AI tools to work efficiently and unlock new creative ideas.

Must-Haves

  • Current Student: You are pursuing a degree in Sports Media, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field.
  • Reliable & Organized: You can manage to-do lists, meet deadlines, and communicate progress effectively.
  • Role-Specific Skillset:
    • For Production: A passion for sports and an eye for the best plays online.
    • For Brand: Strong writing and editing experience; bonus points for a portfolio.
  • Adaptable: You are ready to wear a number of hats in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Curiosity: You are eager to learn what content works and why.
  • Team Player: You understand that putting all the pieces together makes the whole stronger.
  • Domain Knowledge: For production roles, being proficient in our core sports is a major plus.

Our Role

  • Ask you to make an impact. You're part of the team—that means you'll have real responsibilities. We want to hear what you think and see what you can do.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But even if you're taking advantage of the opportunity to work remotely, we'll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
  • Develop your career. On top of working alongside some of the best professionals in the business and gaining real-world experience, we'll give you extra opportunities like lunch-and-learns and access to curated libraries to round out your internship.
  • Support your wellbeing. You'll have an entire team on your side to give advice and provide answers to your questions, plus more resources like topic-specific Slack channels and employee resource groups. In short, we have you covered.

Compensation

Inclusion at Hudl

Hudl is an equal opportunity employer. Through our actions, behaviors and attitude, we'll create an environment where everyone, no matter their differences, feels like they belong.

We offer resources to ensure our employees feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work, including employee resource groups and communities. But we recognize there's ongoing work to be done, which is why we track our efforts and commitments in annual inclusion reports.

We also know imposter syndrome is real and the confidence gap can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates. Please don't hesitate to apply—we'd love to hear from you.
