Creative Producer to own organic YouTube production across our client channels.</span></p><p><span>This role goes far beyond coordinating shoots; it’s about building scalable YouTube content systems, leading production quality, and turning strategic ideas into consistently great videos.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>This is a high-ownership role for someone who understands YouTube deeply and wants to shape how modern YouTube content is produced.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Own</strong></p><ul><li><span>Lead end-to-end production for organic YouTube content across multiple client channels</span></li><li><span>Turn strategic recommendations into executable production plans, timelines, and deliverables</span></li><li><span>Own pre-production including script development, outlines, shot lists, schedules, budgets, equipment, and talent coordination</span></li><li><span>Write scripts or collaborate closely with scriptwriters to ensure clarity, retention, and production feasibility</span></li><li><span>Serve as production lead on in-person shoots while overseeing remote recording workflows</span></li><li><span>Maintain strong standards across lighting, framing, pacing, and overall storytelling quality</span></li><li><span>Partner with Account Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope</span></li><li><span>Protect production quality while balancing timelines and budget realities</span></li><li><span>Ideate and develop YouTube video concepts and series alongside strategists and the Creative Manager, turning growth goals into production-ready ideas</span></li><li><span>Write scripts when needed, especially for pilots, internal content, and fast-turn projects</span></li><li><span>Step in to film smaller or internal productions and directing talent </span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Creative & Strategic Collaboration</strong></p><ul><li><span>Work closely with strategists to translate growth objectives into scalable YouTube formats</span></li><li><span>Contribute to the development of repeatable educational series and long-form content frameworks</span></li><li><span>Support and participate in client pitches by helping shape production concepts and execution plans</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with sales when scoping production opportunities, timelines, and feasibility</span></li><li><span>Ensure production decisions support long-term channel growth and audience retention</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Building the Production Engine</strong></p><ul><li><span>Build and manage a network of videographers, crew, studios, and freelance partners</span></li><li><span>Source locations, talent, and equipment as required for each production</span></li><li><span>Create and improve production workflows and SOPs to enable scale.</span></li><li><span>Plan production capacity as volume increases</span></li><li><span>Over time, help shape hiring needs and build a production team as volume scales</span></li><li><span>Own post-production file management and the handoff workflows to the editing team.</span></li><li><span>Develop scalable production budgeting and scheduling processes.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>YouTube Experience (Required)</strong></p><ul><li><span>Proven experience producing organic YouTube content, particularly educational, explainer, or founder-led videos</span></li><li><span>Strong understanding of YouTube storytelling, retention, hooks, and pacing.</span></li><li><span>Experience building repeatable YouTube series rather than one-off brand films</span></li><li><span>Familiarity with long-form filming setups, multi-camera production, and content batching</span></li><li><span>Clear understanding of how production execution impacts watch time and engagement</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><span>5+ years creating YouTube-focused content in an agency, brand, or creator environment</span></li><li><span>Experience writing scripts or working directly with scriptwriters on educational lighting, cinematography, camera equipment, data workflows, and budgeting.</span></li><li><span>Experience navigating and ensuring compliance with unions, local BC film laws, and obtaining necessary
