The role also includes intermittent inpatient clinical care on teaching services at affiliated community hospitals. <br><br>This position is .1 FTE.<br><br><b>Job Description:</b><br><br><b>Job Duties Outlined:</b><ul><li>Deliver and facilitate active learning sessions, including but not limited problem-based learning (PBL), case-based learning (CBCL), standardized patient (SP), and simulation-enhanced instruction.</li><li>Provide patient care on the inpatient teaching services at our community hospitals as assigned.</li><li>Collaborate with course directors and curriculum leaders on course design and continuous improvement.</li><li>Participate in, and lead, resident and student lectures as assigned.</li><li>Participate in assessment, curriculum evaluation, and accreditation-related activities.</li><li>Engage in educational scholarship and faculty development</li><li>Participate in faculty meetings, ongoing faculty development programs to improve teaching skills and effectiveness.</li><li>Serve on department, university, and/or hospital committees, as needed.</li></ul><b>Required Qualifications:</b><br><br><b>Education:</b><ul><li>MD or DO degree or foreign degree equivalent</li></ul>This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position.
