The Role BIM Coordinator

As BIM Coordinator, you will play a central role in the successful delivery of a large scale data centre project in Frankfurt. Working closely with the BIM Team Lead, package managers, and MEP engineers, you will ensure full 2D and 3D coordination across complex mechanical and electrical installations.

This is a site based BIM role where your work will directly impact construction sequencing, clash avoidance, installation efficiency, and overall programme performance. You will be heavily involved in digital coordination meetings and will support the implementation of the project BIM Execution Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve multidisciplinary clashes across mechanical, electrical and public health services
  • Deliver coordinated 2D and 3D BIM models in line with the project BIM Execution Plan
  • Produce drawings, specifications and coordinated schedules for construction
  • Work closely with MEP package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex installations
  • Monitor BIM deliverables and ensure coordination milestones are achieved on programme
  • Support model reviews and technical coordination workshops
  • Assist in maintaining model accuracy throughout the construction lifecycle
  • Provide guidance and technical support to junior BIM technicians and coordinators
About You

  • Degree qualified in engineering, construction, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years BIM coordination experience on large scale construction projects
  • Strong Revit experience with an MEP focus
  • AutoCAD knowledge preferred
  • Navisworks experience for clash detection and model review
  • Experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or large commercial projects
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Clear communicator with the confidence to engage with engineers, subcontractors and site teams
  • Detail driven with a strong focus on quality and programme deadlines
