Location: Remote (Global, with focus on USA and Europe)

Employment Type: Full-time

About Brave

Brave is building the independent search infrastructure for the AI era.

Brave Search API is the silent engine behind the AI revolution, powering the world’s largest AI companies and most advanced developer frameworks. We’re looking for a B2B Marketing Manager who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, own our marketing operations from the ground up, and help us dominate the LLM and RAG ecosystem.

While others wrap Bing or Google APIs, we own our own global web index. This allows us to offer what Big Tech cannot: Zero-Data-Retention (ZDR) guarantees, unbiased ranking, and total sovereignty.

Role Overview

We're seeking a dynamic B2B Marketing Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives for Brave Search APIs. This role focuses on building global brand awareness, optimizing user journeys, and converting engagement into subscriptions. You'll work to expand market awareness of the Brave API across all channels, you’ll lead social media strategies, collaborate cross-functionally, and advise executives while maintaining a hands-on approach.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in AI, SaaS and/or API marketing, with a track record of targeting technical and business audiences in AI-related sectors. If you're motivated, data-driven, and passionate about AI innovation, this is your opportunity to shape our B2B marketing engine

You are a strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills, and you'll work closely with sales, product, and developer outreach teams to accelerate adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Leadership: Lead global social media channels for B2B audiences, targeting large and medium AI companies building consumer and enterprise products. Develop and execute SoMe strategies across platforms to foster business engagement, drive thought leadership, and convert interactions into subscriptions.
  • Brand Awareness and GTM Strategies: Build global brand awareness in key markets (USA, Europe) through targeted campaigns, audience research, and persona development. Translate market insights into differentiated messaging that highlights Brave Search APIs' value for AI tools.
  • User Journey Optimization: Own the website and user journey from first visit to successful subscription, including SEO, content optimization, and conversion path improvements to maximize inbound leads and revenue.
  • Content and Copywriting: Leverage strong copywriting skills to create compelling content, including blog posts, case studies, email campaigns, and sales enablement materials that articulate the value of our APIs for high-revenue potential clients. Collaborate on product messaging to resonate with technical decision-makers and buyers.
  • Executive Advisory: Advise Brave executive management on growing their social media profiles, enhancing thought leadership, and aligning personal branding with company goals.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Drive additional B2B marketing activities such as presentations, events (virtual and in-person), outreach, and integrated campaigns. Collaborate with developer outreach, sales, and product teams to enable funnels, support sales enablement, and ensure lead conversion.
  • Analytics and Optimization: Establish KPIs, track campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, and optimize strategies based on data insights, market trends, and A/B testing.
  • Team and Vendor Management: Hire and manage freelancers (e.g., designers, copywriters) as needed, while fostering collaboration in a remote, agile environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS, APIs, or AI/tech sectors.
  • Proven track record in social media strategy, content marketing, and driving inbound leads to revenue.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills, with experience in persona development and audience-focused messaging.
  • Hands-on, motivated, and driven mindset; comfortable in fast-paced, experimental settings with remote work.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEO platforms) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluent English; additional languages (e.g., European languages) a plus for global markets.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience marketing to AI developers, technical audiences, or high-value enterprise clients ($100K+ ARR potential).
  • Background in growth marketing, events planning, or developer community engagement.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS go-to-market strategies in competitive tech landscapes.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to shape marketing for a cutting-edge AI API product in a high-growth company.
  • Remote flexibility with a collaborative, results-oriented culture.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and professional development opportunities. US Salary in the $90,000.00 to $120,000.00K range DOE
