Key Responsibilities for the Hotel Assistant General Manager include:
  • The Hotel Assistant General Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations and supports the General Manager in running the property. Their responsibilities typically include:
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments (front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance) function efficiently and meet service standards.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Assist in hiring, training, and managing staff to ensure a motivated team that delivers an exceptional guest experience.
  • Guest Experience: Handle guest complaints, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including brand standards and company policies.
  • Sales and Marketing Support: Collaborate with the sales to promote the property and increase occupancy and revenue.
