About the Role:
Are you a confident communicator who enjoys connecting with people? The Shane Cone Allstate Insurance Agency in Homewood, Alabama is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative / Telemarketer to help grow our agency by reaching out to prospective customers and scheduling appointments for our licensed agents. This role is responsible for generating qualified leads, setting appointments and helping drive new business opportunities for our licensed sales agents. Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers using provided lead lists
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads and manage customer interactions
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns
  • Schedule appointments for insurance consultations with agents
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Allstate products and services
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly call and appointment targets
  • Collaborate with team members to improve sales strategies and techniques
  • Introduce Allstate products and services in a professional manner
  • Identify prospect needs and generate interest in insurance quotes
  • Follow all compliance and telemarketing guidelines
Requirements:
  • Previous telemarketing, call center or sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed in sales
